TIPS FOR GROOMING YOUR PETS

The following tips for grooming your pets are only the suggestion and recommendation of grooming between/before professional grooming.

Dogs:

1. Brush and clean your dog coat by brushing upward to the top head and downward to the top of the tail. Make sure it is free from dirt, matted or knotted. Dogs should not be bathed if it is matted and knotted. It will make the situation difficult for drying time.

2. Clean eyes and ears with cleaning solution or you can just use cotton balls soaking in warm water. Wipe all the dirt out from ears and eyes. Lightly pluck some hair out from the ears if needed even not just let your professional groomer do this job for you.

3. Trim nails and dew claws if necessary. Be careful not to cut the quick. If you cut the quick, you can apply styptic power to stop bleeding. Even not use cotton ball and push with the pressure on the nail that bled until it stops bleeding.

4. We would highly recommend bathing your dog in warm water. Use shampoo and conditioner as desired. While you are bathing your dog, give them a message over the body and in the same time check the sign of skin disease, fleas and even ticks.

5. Your choice of drying your dogs with hand dry or blow dry, If you use normal human hair dry, do not forget to turn it to cool position. Also try to brush them in the same time of drying to make they look fluffy.
